Process Modeling Development Engineer
Chicago, IL - Devise processes for modeling and optimization of catalytic coal gasification (CCG) and combustion in a fluidized bed reactor. Plan, design, and conduct research to develop technology to maximize the efficiency of CCG. Evaluate chemical equipment and processes to identify ways to optimize gasification performance using CFD models. Perform tests and monitor performance of processes throughout stages of production. Must have peer-reviewed scientific publications on fluidization, gasification, CFD modeling and/or green technologies. Ph.D. in Chemical Technology.
