GreatPoint Energy has proven its bluegas™ technology and independently verified its advantage as the lowest-cost new incremental source of pipeline-quality natural gas.
The Company successfully demonstrated the bluegas™ technology at its laboratory test facility in Chicago, IL and over thousands of hours of testing in multiple pilot plants:
The Company performed multiple successful test campaigns on a range of feedstocks at the Gas Technology Institute's pilot plant in Des Plaines, IL and definitively validated key metrics, including carbon conversion and methane yield.
The Company designed, constructed, and operated a pilot facility in Somerset, Massachusetts with a 100 foot reactor in order to provide model confirmation under commercial conditions.
The Company currently conducts tests at a pilot plant at the Energy and Environmental Research Center in Grand Forks, ND which demonstrates the latest version of its technology and serves as a feedstock calibration facility for designing commercial plants.
In a separate third party study, Jacobs Consulting concluded that GreatPoint Energy's anticipated cost of production is significantly lower than other alternative natural gas supply options and significantly lower than the current market price of LNG.
As part of their rigorous due diligence process, key strategic investors validated both GreatPoint Energy's technology and model before making substantial investments in the Company.
